Production of aluminum sulphate
Sulphuric
acid production available in the region makes it possible to set up manufacture
of aluminum sulphate here though the other component of the production process,
namely aluminum hydroxide, is to be brought in.
The production process suggested
meets the up - to -date standards as far as the basic technical and economic indices
are concerned and by the form of the product which is granulated leaves behind
the existing technologies.
Depending on the field of application two grades
of aluminum sulphate are manufactured - Grade A and Grade B.
Grade A - for
wood-working , wood-pulp-and paper, textile and leather industries.
Grade
B- for drinking and industrial water purification.
The raw materials for obtaining
aluminum sulphate crystal hydrate Al2(SO4)3 18 H2O is aluminum hydroxide, sulphuric
acid and water.
Physical and chemical base is determined by the reaction conditions
between aluminum hydroxide and sulphuric acid. To obtain crystal hydrate with
Al2O3=15.3%
( the main index which depends on reactants ratio) reagents consumption
is to be stoichiometric. The reaction is exothermic and the process can run without
additional heat supply ( except starting up).

( first stage - 8000 t/year) PJSC "GIRHIMPROM" offers cooperation on
the following conditions:
- to cooperate in funding for production organization
( a joint activity contract);
- to set up an individual loyal entity for commercial
production with investments distribution in accordance with the agreement achieved;
Other
forms of cooperation which can be suggested by the investors are accepted for
consideration.
