Drinking water basin

It is suggested to fill the Podorozhnenskyy open pit with water from the river Switch to reach the sweet water analysis in it as that of the drinking water.
The highest water quality will be reached in case the pit will be filled with water from the river Svicha .Water from the Swicha has a total salt content of 180 mg/l and it doesn't have nitrates and other compounds which testify to contamination. A water line coming from the Stryy water intake runs at a distance of 8 km from the lake.
In case the lake is to be used for water supply sanitary protection zones should be organized here. According to agrarian and water code of Ukraine this entails limited usage of aquatory and adjacent lands .
In prospect sweet water will be still more higher valued and can be a source of income.
